Get ready to start on an exciting journey by picking up your car from the designated location! On the way, you have the opportunity to visit the beautiful village of Cumalikizik, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This village has done an excellent job of preserving the rural architecture of the early Ottoman period. On the way to Ankara, you can glimpse the fascinating ancient city of Gordion, which served as the capital of Phrygia. This ancient city is home to the tumulus of the legendary king of Phrygia, Donkey Ears Midas! This tumulus is one of the largest tumuli in the world! The area is being considered for UNESCO World Heritage designation.

Hattusas was the capital of the Hittite civilization, one of the most influential civilizations in history. The Kades Peace Agreement, the first written agreement in history, was signed between the Hittites and Egyptians. The Kades Peace Agreement is being displayed in Istanbul Archeological Museums. You should also visit Alacahoyuk, another significant Hittite city.

Instead, you may take the road through Ankara, the capital of Turkey. In Ankara, you should visit Ataturk’s Mausoleum. He is the founder of modern Turkey. Afterward, we highly recommend exploring the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Exploring this museum will shed light on the history of Anatolia, which will also shed light on your whole tour. Mevlana's contributions as a poet, scholar, and theologian have significantly impacted Islamic history. It's impressive how his heritage continues to thrive and be celebrated globally. On the bright side, the Great Karatay Madrasa was built during Mevlana's lifetime and is an incredibly iconic piece of architectural art from the Seljuk era.

Catalhoyuk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located just outside the city center of Konya. The Catalhoyuk people were pioneers in agriculture and contributed significantly to the development of civilization. This city has a rich history, home to the first ever city plan discovered, dating back 8200 years.
